Veteran Marketers Garen Van de Beek, Lori Shefa Launch RM 15

Veteran entertainment marketers Garen van de Beek and Lori Shefa are launching creative agency RM 15, named after the office suite they shared for years at CBS' TV City in Los Angeles.

The 360-degree agency will focus on producing creative assets and campaigns to launch and grow new and returning television and streaming content, as well as marketing and branding for companies outside of the entertainment sector.

"Lori and I can offer something many other agencies can't-- we know exactly what it takes to launch hit shows because we've been on the inside and have a track record of unparalleled success to back it up," said Van de Beek in a statement.

Van de Beek spent two decades at CBS, and was executive vice president of marketing from 2010 to 2020. While there, he oversaw a team of 120 and worked with showrunners, producers, development executives, advertising agencies and trailer companies to create campaigns for series across CBS' platforms.

Shefa was senior vice president and creative director, CBS Marketing, from 2010-20, working closely with Van de Beek and overseeing creative teams. Overall, she spent 23 years at CBS.

Together, van de Beek and Shefa have launched many network and streaming TV series, including The Big Theory, Survivor, the CSI and NCIS franchises, Young Sheldon, , Hawaii 5-0 and many more. They also led the creative behind CBS All Access series such as : Discovery and Star Trek: Picard, and Jordan Peele's reboot of The Twilight Zone.
