Now that’s the look of a kid having fun! With 24 playgrounds located in 17 parks across the county, JCPRD sees these happy looks on a nearly daily basis. This particular child was among folks who Jeff Meyers, Bob Carlson, attended the early July 2019 opening Treasurer Asst. Treasurer of the inclusive playground at Shawnee Mission Park. While designed for people with special needs, this playground - and JCPRD’s other inclusive playground at Stilwell Community Park - are also meant to be really fun playgrounds for people of all ability levels.
