MEA Partner Summit 2017: 1+1=4

Stowe Holdings had the pleasure of joining Diebold Nixdorf at their first & African Partner Summit held in Cape Town 9 – 12 May 2017. Stowe Holdings is a Diebold Nixdorf partner, providing IT Support and Services to the Retail Fuel Industry in for various corporate customers.

According to Paulo Gomes, Vice President Middle East and Africa of Diebold Nixdorf, who opened the summit, the road together to success lies in the 1+1=4 concept. In summary 1+1 refers to the acquisition of by Diebold to form the new Diebold Nixdorf. The “= 4” refers to the successful business and support partners across the Middle East and African continents. The Summit brought together more than120 participants who represented as many as 85 companies, across 72 countries with 5 different time-zones and 4 main business languages – proving the diversity and global success of the Diebold Nixdorf combination.

At the Summit, 12 Keynote speakers of Diebold Nixdorf shared the company’s vision and provided information on software as being the driving factor complimented by a new emerging retail opportunity with a stronger hardware offer.

Meeting specialists from other countries was a great opportunity for Stowe Holdings to get to know other partners, share experiences, learn about each other's accomplishments and innovations, gain inspiration, and discuss possible opportunities and co-operation aspects.

The summit participants were split into smaller Regional groups and discussed a number of questions pertaining to the Diebold Nixdorf acquisition and how this affected the in-country partners. It was a great opportunity to meet the various Diebold Nixdorf representatives in Africa!
