1. Thevara Ferry Cleaning

The NSS volunteers organised a cleaning programme in Thevara ferry on the 15th of August. It got great support from the local people. It was a half day programme with a volunteer strength of 50.

2. Visit to Home for the Destitute at Chellanam

As part of an extension of outreach activity of NSS, students visited Home for Destitute at Chellanam. The students spend their time with elderly people presented some cultural events to entertain them.

3. Paddy Cultivation Project "Pokkali Reaping"

As part of Paddy cultivation project, students of Sacred Heart College actively participated in agricultural activities. The project aims to make students learn the process involved in cultivation. Students were involved in manual paddy harvesting process.

4. Special Camp at Palakkuzha near Muvattupuzha

The NSS students of Sacred Heart college participated in the NSS camp in the village Palakkuzha near to Muvattupuzha. The camp created awareness on various issues related to environmental, tree plantation, save water through street plays at various places of Palakkuzha. Students also involved in cleaning various areas of the village.

5. Run Kerala Run

NSS Unit of Sacred Heart College initiated Run Kerala Run. This was organized to express the solidarity and to promote the National Games to be held in Kerala. Students, teaching, non- teaching staff of Sacred Heart College joined the initiative. The principal of Sacred Heart College flagged off the RUN KERALA RUN.

6. SH Bhavana Padhathi at Chellanam

NSS spearheaded the project. with support from staff, management and people of goodwill for the completion of two houses. Almost 100 volunteers contributed labour in transferring construction material. DAYA BAI formally launched the programme and handed over the support from students on Aug 4, 2015.
