Tour # 1: “Indy Race Tour”

Take an in-depth look at the remarkable, famed oval which is currently in the Centennial Era Celebration and the 100th anniversary of the inaugural Indy 500 in 1911. Guests will visit the timing-and-scoring suite in the Pagoda, the Media Center, Victory Podium and Gasoline Alley garage area. Next off the Dallara Indycar Factory:

The Dallara Indycar Factory will offer guests the chance to explore 23,000 square feet of interactive and hands-on exhibits centered on the engineering and technology of the world's fastest sport! Guests will also take a “Garage Tour’ through the interactive area explaining the process of how an Indycar is made. Tours then progress into the Indycar experience garage. Experience a tunnel filled with the current IndyCar's blueprints and design concept drawings or sit down and relax in theater as you catch up on the past, present and future of Gian Paolo Dallara and his company, Dallara Automobili.

Tour # 2: “Honoring our Veteran’s Tour”

We will enjoy a sightseeing tour of Indianapolis mainly focusing on its military history, monuments and memorials including the Soldiers and Sailors Monument in the heart of downtown with a tour of the Eli Lilly sponsored Civil War museum below the monument, the Indiana War Memorial, the World War I Memorial, the Vietnam Memorial and the 9/11 Memorial which includes two 11,000-pound beams from the World Trade Center Twin Towers. Behind the beams stand a pair of six-foot tall black granite walls inscribed with remembrances of the events in New York City; Washington D.C. and Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The tour also presents information on Indianapolis’s main attractions, restaurants and citizens. This interactive tour allows guests to ask questions along the way. Indianapolis is second only to Washington D.C. in the number of memorials and monuments.

Following the History Tour of Indianapolis’s Memorials and Monuments, we will then to visit the Channel 8 News Station and tour their private facility and seeing behind the scenes as they air the afternoon news with your chance to do a green screen weather forecast. After that guests will then get to browse the quaint local shops in the City Market and also have their selection of many local eateries to enjoy lunch (on your own).

Tour # 3: “The Glass Factory Tour”

Kokomo Opalescent Glass (KOG) has been in continuous operation in Kokomo, Indiana since 1888 and is America’s oldest art glass company. We will take a tour of Kokomo Opalescent Glass and step back in time where you will see the fascinating technique of making art in art sheet glass form. KOG still manufactures their art sheet glass the same way it was made more than a century ago. In addition, we will see glass blowers at work making anything from blown glass rondels to exclusive one of a kind blown glass paperweights and vases. Once our tour is complete we will have some time to browse the ! Once guests are finished purchasing their glass gifts we will then enjoy a wonderful lunch at a Kokomo favorite Italian restaurant. This tour has a bus ride of approx. 1hr and 15 minutes each way
