Year 12 Music Captain: Brooke

Personal 1. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? I love to sing, rap, sleep, and eat food!

2. What has been a personal achievement of which you are proud? I was proud to perform at the school’s M Factor, and I am proud of the music I have recently been creating!

Career 3. What subjects are you studying this year? I am studying Stage 2 Music Solo Performance and Music Ensemble Performance, English Communications, Food & Hospitality, and Mathematical Applications.

4. What do you hope to do after Year 12? I hope to make music and get myself out there as my dream is to be a singer and rapper.

Miscellaneous 5. Favourite music I love to listen to , and my favourite artist is Nicki Minaj. Kelebek and William Singe are also two of my favourite artists who performed on the X Factor.

6. Favourite food I am known as the world’s fussiest eater. I do not like a lot of foods, except for the unhealthy stuff. My favourite food would have to be Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and my favourite place to eat is Nordburger.

7. Favourite television shows, film or book. My favourite show is Under the Dome.’

Personal

1. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? In my spare time I enjoy knitting, gardening, reading and going for walks.

2. What sport do you follow if so, what team/league? I really enjoy netball and I follow the Thunderbirds.

3. Did you grow up in Adelaide? I actually grew up in New South Wales.

4. Describe your favourite teacher when you were a student. Mr Pretty was my History teacher and what I enjoyed about his classes was that he made the subject interesting as well as funny.

Career

5. What does your job entail? As a laboratory assistant I prepare practicals for Science and look after the Science areas.

6. How long have you been employed at the college? I have been at Mary MacKillop College for two and a half years and really enjoy working with my colleagues and the students.

7. What have been highlights of your time at MMC? I have really enjoyed events that involve and unite the whole school community. I really enjoyed Mary MacKillop Feast Day, the Family Breakfast and Race around Asia which the Year 8 and 9 students undertake.
