VOLUME 20, ISSUE 3 M A R C H 2 0 1 9 Annual Plant Sale Changes The Friends of the Library are excited to announce their new location and collaboration with Milwaukie Floral & Garden at 3306 SE Lake Rd for the 2019 Annual Plant Sale! Cory Leitz, the Designer and Manager of Milwaukie Floral & Garden, is excited to be the host location for this year’s Plant Sale. The plant sale will take place May 11 - 12 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. The work to prepare for the plant sale has already begun. Interested in helping? The Friends of are looking for donations and volunteers for this year’s annual plant sale. The Friends are looking for plant, pots and garden art donations and volunteers for numerous fun projects such as planting parties, plant ID, labeling, sale greeters/ floaters, pricing, social media stars and more. A collaboration of seasoned volunteers, neighborhood businesses, library staff, and new comers make this a fun and fulfilling library fundraiser.
