The IntelliStation M Pro is well-suited for graphic-intensive applications with a variety of graphics adapters to choose from. The manageability features of the IntelliStation help you manage your systems throughout their lifecycle. Beginning with LAN Client Control Manager (LCCM) and Software Delivery Assistant to help you to quickly and easily deploy your IntelliStation as well as other PC systems with the exact system image that you need. IBM Universal Manageability (UM) Services helps you manage your systems allowing you to view, monitor, and control your networked computers through a Web browser or from an enterprise management application such as IBM Director, Tivoli , CA Unicenter, HP OpenView, or Microsoft SMS. From its elegant exterior design to its uncluttered interior, the system is designed for easy upgrade and power. A powerful 340-watt power supply provides power to spare for the most robust configurations. All models use one of the six slots for an AGP graphics adapter. In SCSI models, one slot is used for the SCSI adapter. On models using the Fire GL4, the PCI slot adjacent to the AGP slot is not available. For expansion this leaves five open slots in all models except four open slots in SCSI models and three slots in models using the Fire GL4 adapter. All models have two open RIMM slots for additional memory upgrades.
