Trader Joe's, Cook Out, Blaze Pizza: Businesses Odenton Wants Odenton residents have some requests for businesses they want in town, including grocery and craft stores, plus Korean, soul and seafood. By Deb Belt, Patch National Staff | Jan 11, 2019 11:43 am ET

ODENTON, MD — We asked Odenton Patch readers what businesses they would like to see come to town, and you answered. In fact, the responses were overwhelming when we posed the question on Facebook, with quite a few residents hoping for new grocery store options.

Patch got dozens of comments that included multiple requests for various grocery stores and a craft store like Michael's, plus various restaurants that would bring Korean food or soul food to town.

Overall readers want a mix of independently-owned businesses as well as chains. The retailers with sizable support are Trader Joe's, Michael's, Mom's Organic Market, and Whole Foods. Here's a sampling taken from the Facebook comments, with several commenters asking for seafood restaurants, along with chain eateries like Blaze Pizza, Sonic Drive-In and Chick-fil-A:

Trader Joe's please A great seafood restaurant with crabs, crab legs, and all different types of seafood. One that seasonally will have all you can eat as well. A book store! A MUSIC STORE Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers Cook Out Blaze Pizza Our Chevys Chili's Grill & Bar Sonic Drive-In Chick-Fil-A Crepe shop Noodles and Company I know it's food but we need one in Odenton Staples and Michaels BIBIBOP Asian Grill and/or Zaxby's A gym in the central shopping plaza A Dunkin Donuts on Annapolis road I second Trader Joes! Hooters Chopt Creative Salad Co. Trader Joe's, Michaels, and !! Masseys Pizza! Whole Foods ALDI Trader Joe's Hobby Lobby A lot of these places are already a short drive to Bowie Bagel Shoppe or good seafood restaurant First watch Texas Steak House Buffalo Wild Wings!!! Michael's or AC Moore Trader Joe's, Bath and Body Works, Michaels, Barnes and Noble Korean food. Real korean food. Panera, Arby's Whole Foods and Moms Organic Market Seafood and Soulfood restaurant. Total Wine Harris Teeter or MOM's and maybe some more diverse non chain food options. Any type of Craft store Blaze Pizza or Mod Pizza. PF Changs. Cost Plus World Market. A good bagel shop Whole Foods or Einstein Bagels
