2019-20 Portland State Vikings Basketball PORTLAND STATE VIKINGS 2019-20 SEASON PREVIEW

The 2019-20 Portland State Basketball season Troy Wayrynen should be a mixture of the familiar and the new. The familiar will include the dazzling playmak- ing of All-Big Sky Conference guard Holland “Boo Boo” Woods, the shot blocking of league leader Sal Nuhu, and the trademark full-court “Peery Pressure” put on by the Vikings. “The brand of basketball that you will see us play won’t look much different from the last two years,” said Viking Coach Barret Peery. “With Boo Boo, Sal and Rashaad (Goolsby) we have three guys who played big minutes for us last year, know how we play and what we do. We also have a couple of guys who redshirted with Trey (Wood) and Kyle (Greeley) that know our system and how we do things on a daily basis.” The new will include a host of transfers who have bolstered the Portland State roster in the off-season.
