Well to say that we Welcome 2021 is an understatement. 2020 proved to be a very difficult year for everyone but here we are, looking forward to a better future. We would first of all like to thank you all so much for your kind words, support, patience and understanding in these unprecedented times. It means so, so much to us all here at Aberfeldy Motors. We really do value all our customers and, as a small family firm, you must also be aware that these current times are not standard and the worldwide pandemic has been challenging to put it mildly. Things are still different for the start of the year and we will continue with our rigorous approach to maintain passenger safety. As this Brochure is printed in November we have no idea of the guidelines which will be in place but we will notify you of any with your Travel Tickets. Of course, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call us. HOW TO BOOK Once you have selected your holiday, all you have to do is call us and we can take your booking over the phone, we accept all credit and debit cards alternatively, there are Booking Forms in the middle of the Brochure, simply complete one of these and send it with payment by cheque. We will then send a confirmation invoice showing receipt of payment and the date when the final payment is due – we do not send reminders. Travel tickets and Luggage Labels are sent normally ten days before departure. Please note we are allocated a small number of Single Rooms on each departure, some hotels do not charge a supplement but if these rooms are all used, the hotel may charge a supplement for the use of a double/twin room. If you have any special requirements or queries or if you wish to check availability of any tour, please call us and we will be delighted to assist you in any way we can. BREXIT At the time of this brochure going to print, the full terms of Brexit have not been confirmed. We strongly recommend that you make sure you have at least six months left on your UK Passport from the day of arrival, applicable to adult and child passports. All passengers should have an adequate Travel Insurance Policy in place which should cover medical and repatriation costs, personal injury, loss of baggage and cancellation charges. We would also stress that passengers should check prior to travel if there are any new additional requirements. CONTINENTAL TOURS All ferry crossings are with P&O Ferries from Hull to Rotterdam. Your tour will be operated with air-conditioned coaches. No passport is required in but we recommend that you carry some form of identification. Currency for Continental and Irish Tours is Euros. Please also be aware that it is now a legal requirement that all passengers wear seat belts. Due to Driver’s Hours Regulations, itineraries are for guidance only and may be changed to suit driver’s rest periods, especially on tours with two free days which may end up being two consecutive days, however the content of the excursions will remain the same. IT IS FIRM COMPANY POLICY THAT PASSENGERS ARE SET DOWN AT THEIR ORIGINAL PICK UP POINT ONLY. FINANCIAL SECURITY The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangement Regulations 2018. Therefore, you will benefit from all rights applying to a package. Aberfeldy Motor Services will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole. Additionally, as required by law, Aberfeldy Motor Services has protection in place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation in the event that they become insolvent.
