PIRATESTALES at the Library!
Hey Readers,
This summer, you can read your way into PNC Park, home of the Pittsburgh Pirates, by participating in Pirates Tales, a program brought to you by Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
If you are between the ages of 4 – 12, you can sign up for Pirates Tales until August 31, 2016 by reading as many books as you want. After finishing each book complete and return an entry form to your librarian, and consider yourself entered to win! You can pick up more entry forms at any participating library or enter online at carnegielibrary.org/piratestales.
The more books you read the more chances you’ll have to win tickets to a Pirates game at PNC Park. One lucky reader from each participating library will be invited to a special storytime with a Pirates celebrity and the Pirate Parrot before a 2017 Pirates game at PNC Park.
Second and third place winners will receive tickets to a 2017 Pirates home game.
The Pittsburgh Pirates and your local public library are proud to offer this program and encourage the importance of reading. If you have any questions, feel free to ask your librarian.
