3. Supplemental Recruitment Initiatives.

Entercom Rochester offers internships at the radio stations in our Promotions and Programming departments. Interns must be college students and receive Promotions Director Periodically Entercom college credit for the internships. The Promotions Directors and the 1 Internship Program Programing Director throughout the year Rochester Programming Directors oversee the internships to evaluate the interns and On-Air Staff ensure they are receiving information and education. Internships are ongoing throughout the year.

A group of eighteen students and two teachers from Perry High School’s On-Air Staff Greece Transition Entercom marketing class were given a tour of Entercom Rochester. The tour included an Promotions Directors 2 January 8, 2018 Program Rochester inside look at all 4 FM stations during an air shift. This tour helped give the Program Directors students an inside look at a job in the radio broadcasting field. Account Manager

January 29- VirtualCare Entercom Rochester participated in this virtual career fair via an interactive Promotions Directors 3 Virtual Career Fair February 25, 2018 erFair.com online platform connecting job seekers to our employment opportunities. Sales Managers

A group of students and teachers from Newark High School were given a tour On-Air Staff Genesee Community Entercom of Entercom Rochester. The tour included an inside look at all 4 FM stations Promotions Directors 4 February 21, 2018 College Station Tour Rochester during an air shift and a Q&A session with some air talent. This tour helped give Program Directors the students an inside look at a job in the radio broadcasting field. Account Manager

A Sales Manager Nazareth College Geneseo, and Sales Representative discussed the radio industry with students, distributed Promotions Director 7 March 22, 2018 Job Fair NY materials, and accepted resumes from applicants for a number of open Sales Representative positions. Approximately 500 people attended the career fair.

May 21 – June 17, VirtualCare Entercom Rochester participated in this virtual career fair via an interactive Promotions Directors 8 Virtual Career Fair 2018 erFair.com online platform connecting job seekers to our employment opportunities. Sales Managers

Five Girl Scouts from Girl Scouts of WNY, Troop 60697 and their parents were On-Air Staff Girl Scouts of WNY Entercom given a tour of Entercom Rochester. The tour included an inside look at all four Promotions Directors 9 August 8, 2018 Station Tour Rochester FM stations during an air shift. This tour helped the Scouts achieve their badge Program Directors requirement, and learn about a career in radio. Account Manager

Entercom Rochester Marketing Director spoke at the monthly Brockport College Radio Station (89.1 The Point) meeting. The station staff consists of about 20- Brockport College Brockport 25 students and the Radio Station advisor. Topics included: Marketing 10 October 4, 2018 Marketing Director Monthly Meeting College Director’s job—what she does now and her professional background experiences to date, along with helpful hints for current college students to land an internship or a first job in the industry.

A group of college students and teachers from SUNY Radio were given a tour On-Air Staff SUNY Oneonta Entercom of Entercom Rochester. The tour included an inside look at all 4 FM stations Promotions Directors 11 Radio Majors Station November 12, 2018 Rochester during an air shift. This tour helped give the students an inside look at a job in Program Directors Tour the radio broadcasting field. Account Manager

Sales Managers Entercom Rochester hosted a breakfast for our EEO Recruitment Source January 25, 2019 Program Directors Entercom contacts. Managers discussed the opportunities available and provided an 12 EEO Breakfast and Promotion Directors Rochester overview of their specific departments.
