DID YOU KNOW Harvard-Westlake and Habitat for Humanity Harvard-Westlake students put their tool belts on to help construct two new homes in Montebello with Habitat for Humanity. Students painted molding, cleared construction debris, and built custom shelving. Habitat for Humanity offers opportunities for volunteers to build new home projects and as well as to work on significant renovations of deserving existing family homes. Our Environmental Club Plants New student volunteers at HW continue to demonstrate a Campus Gardens Purpose beyond Ourselves. Harvard-Westlake students reached deep into the soil to plant new campus gardens full of rosemary, white sage, and lavender. Their efforts introduce more native plant species to our campus environment. Thank you to our student volunteers who have made our campus even more beautiful and environmentally sustainable!
