Welcome to Second Baptist School!
Other than my mother and father, my coaches have had the greatest impact on the person I am today. I believe the athletic experience at Second Baptist School and the coaches who lead our teams are vital to accomplishing our mission to equip students to think critically, live biblically and lead courageously to impact the world for Jesus Christ.
As you take part in the first annual Houston Private School Basketball Classic, either as an athlete, spectator or volunteer, I hope you will see our commitment to excellence. Through outstanding coaches, first-class athletic facilities, and a robust performance training program, we seek to provide our students with exceptional athletic experiences so they can achieve their greatest potential.
At Second Baptist School, we educate the whole student through athletics, art and academics. Participating in our athletics program and being coached by godly men and women are some of the most effective ways to prepare students for success long after their time on our campus.

Welcome to the first annual Houston Private School Classic, a high level basketball tournament for the best private school teams in Houston. We understand what a privilege it is to be able to provide an opportunity for all 12 of these teams to participate. In such uncertain times, co-curricular athletic opportunities are so valuable to our young student athletes. I ask for your full cooperation with our posted health and safety regulations.
Second Baptist School asks that all participants and spectators conduct themselves in a positive and encouraging way at all times. The officials are our guests, and the athletes are teenagers playing a sport they love. I know that this tournament will positively reflect the core values of the schools we represent.
