Habits: 1. Aim to be tidy, polite and helpful to others 2. Good manners cost nothing, but are so important. Aim to use ‘Good mornings’, ‘Pleases’, ‘Thank yous’ and smile whenever you can! 3. Try to help others who need your support and assistance

Expectations: The Sandroyd Expectations are based around our motto - Niti est Nitere and will stand you in good stead for your time at Sandroyd and indeed beyond:

What do these expectations mean?

Challenge yourself: Do everything to the best of your ability and look to step out of your comfort zone. Work hard to achieve your individual and collective goals.

Respect each other: Respect the individuality and interests of all pupils and staff. Uphold the values and morals that we stand for ensuring that you look after both yourself and your fellow pupils at Sandroyd.

Be honest: Be honest with adults, each other and also be honest with yourself. One of the best ways to learn from your mistakes is to understand and own up to making that mistake. This requires honesty and often courage.
