MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE PLANNING & LICENSING COMMITTEE OF TOWN COUNCIL HELD IN THE TOWN HALL, 5 CHURCH STREET, AYLESBURY ON MONDAY 29th JULY 2019 AT 7.00 p.m.

The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7.00pm 1 APOLOGIES Apologies were received, and accepted from Cllr Hunter Watts (Work Commitment), Cllr Lloyd (Prior Commitment), Cllr Willis (Work Commitment)

RESOLVED: To receive and accept the reasons of absence.

2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST None declared

3. MINUTES RESOLVED: that the minutes of the meeting held on 15th July 2019 be accepted as a true record and signed by the Chairman.

4. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION A member of the public addressed the committee and spoke of their concern having attended the Unitary Council Consultation event on Thursday 25th July. The member of public highlighted the areas they though should be devolved/delegated to Aylesbury Town Council – Ownership/management of public spaces, Ownership/management of community centres, Street cleaning, high way verge maintenance and footway weed control and maintenance of St Marys Churchyard, management of the market and street traders, Organisation of public events, Street naming Way marking for pedestrians and cyclists, Town Centre Management and Operation (but not ownership) of public car parks and control of on street parking. The member of public also ask for further clarification as to actually what the Aylesbury Gardens town status really means for Aylesbury. The committee listened and thanked the member of public for attending.
