Certificate in Corporate Finance

FINANCIAL TRAINING PROGRAMMES

2, 3 & 5 December 2015 08:30 – 17:00, CIIM

In a volatile economic climate, the world of corporate finance is continuously evolving and increasingly complex practices, structures and techniques are being devised and implemented for companies to compete on a global level.

Therefore corporate finance techniques, regulations and technical foundations offer many companies the opportunity for growth. However problems occur when these different financing structures are either not fully understood or the wrong strategy is implemented.

When putting together any corporate finance deal, creating shareholder value is vital. And, as history has taught us, over three quarters of M&A transactions worldwide fail to add value for the acquirer's shareholders and misplaced acquisition programmes often result in financial distress or bankruptcy.

The course takes participants through all the forms of corporate finance from legislation, regulation and techniques that will provide a strong understanding of how corporate finance transactions are developed to meet client needs. Upon completion of the programme, participants will be fully prepared to put their learning into practice to their organisation.

The syllabus of the Certificate in Corporate Finance, has been jointly developed by ICAEW and CISI.

CIIM is proud to be an ICAEW Partner in Learning and CISI Accredited Training Provider (ATP) for the Certificate in Corporate Finance.
