Decent brushes and gesso, a pallet rags water container etc. I recommend tube acrylic, gouache or watercolor paint. Winsor Newton, Liquitex, Golden, & Holbein are all nice paint with quality pigment. As we will not use these in class right away I will review. If you like oil paint you will need a drying agent like Liquin and some natural/soft brushes. - A couple of pieces of 22 x 30ish double thick smooth illustration board. Matt board can work fine as well.
