For all of the scholarships I list, I either have the applications on file, or the web address to the online application is given. Unless the scholarship states specifically that you should pick up or return the scholarship to me, you are responsible for locating and submitting your application to the appropriate organization or college by the due date. AAA Safety School Patrol—For seniors who have served as a member of the AAA Safety School Patrol in elementary school are eligible for apply for this $1,000 scholarship. Students must complete the application, including their academic record, safety patrol experience, in and out-of-school activities and references, and a maximum 500-word essay. ABCO-Services APWA Family Scholarship—A scholarship in the amount of $500.00 for Northwest American Public Works Association family members. Application can found HERE. Deadline is March 15, 2021.

Advertising Club of Toledo Scholarship— For graduating high school seniors & current college students residing in who are pursuing a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree in communications, marketing, public relations or related field at the , Bowling Green State University, or an accredited post-secondary institution in Ohio or Michigan. This scholarship may be renewed for 3 additional years after the initial award (not guaranteed), provided the student meets the renewal conditions. GPA of a 3.0 + is required. *** Arnold Family Scholarship—Must be attending an accredited university in the fall, be graduating from Ross High School in 2021, have a min 2.5-3.5 max GPA. **Atkinson Elementary School Scholarship—Scholarship, financial need, and predictability of college success will be the selection criteria. Application can found HERE and is available in guidance. Completed applications should be returned to guidance on or before due date. Deadline is April 2, 2021.

B. Davis Scholarship: High school students are eligible, and must write an essay of less than 1000 words on the topic of Describe the three characteristics of leadership you value most. Discuss why you believe that these traits are so important and how you feel that they are developed in an individual. Big Nut Scholarship—Must be graduating from Fremont Ross in the class of 2021 and MUST have been admitted, with plans to attend The Ohio State University in Fall 2021- OSU ID number must be reported. Jake Binder Scholarship— seniors who will be entering college in the fall of 2021 and who have played football for Fremont Ross are eligible to apply. FIVE $1,000 scholarships are available. The Bonnie Eddy Educational Supply and Book Grant—For high school seniors in Northwest Ohio whose school district is a member of the Northwest Region of the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA)- FCS are members. Must have plans to major in in education at an accredited college or university in the state of Ohio. Applicant must have a grade point average (GPA) in the upper 50% of the class. Applicant must demonstrate evidence of strong moral character, community involvement, and volunteerism. Letters of recommendation are needed. See Ms. Huth for application or click here. Deadline is January 31, 2021.

**Paul R. Brough Memorial Scholarship—Must be graduating Senior from Fremont Ross and attending Bowling Green, Tiffin, or The Ohio State University. 3.0 or above GPA is required. Application is available HERE and in guidance. Completed applications should be returned to guidance on or before due date. Deadline is April 30, 2021.

**Alex Clark Minority Scholarship—Ross senior with minority status who plans to continue with higher education. Preference given to science and/or education majors, but any major can apply. Application is available HERE and in guidance. Completed applications should be returned to guidance on or before due date. Deadline is April 30, 2021.

**Croghan School Scholarship— Ross senior who has attended Croghan Elementary School. Based on academics, financial need, and essay. See Ms. Huth for application or click HERE. Application needs to be turned in to Ms. Huth. Deadline is March 26, 2021.

Elk’s Legacy Award: For the 2021 contest, any child or grandchild (or step-child, step-grandchild, or legal ward) of a living Elk who joined the order on or before April 1, 2018, or a charter member of a Lodge that was instituted on or after April 1, 2018, is eligible to apply. Jamie Farr Scholarship— For graduating high school seniors residing in Northwest Ohio or Southeast Michigan pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited post-secondary institution. This scholarship is renewable for 3 additional years after the initial award (4 years total), provided the student meets the renewal conditions. Must have a minimum 24 ACT Score or 1160 SAT Score. **Margaret E. Fox Scholarship—Ross senior planning to pursue higher education. Must have attended Ross for 3+ years. Based on involvement and career goals. Application is available HERE and in guidance. Completed applications should be returned to guidance on or before due date. Deadline is April 23, 2021.

Fremont Federal Credit Union Scholarship—Applicants and/or parents/guardians must be a member in good standing of the Fremont Federal Credit Union as of January 1, 2020. Based on GPA (2.5 minimum), school involvement, community involvement, two letters of recommendation, and essay question. **Fremont Ross Athletic Boosters—Six $500 scholarships will be awarded to three senior boys and three senior girls. You must be a Ross senior athlete who plans to further your education after graduation. Must have played or been involved in a team sport during your senior year. Application is available HERE and in guidance. Completed applications should be returned to Mrs. Robin Mohr (finance office) on or before due date. Deadline is May 7, 2021.

The Gillmor Charitable Foundation— Old Fort Banking Company— Scholarship for those planning on attending , Heidelberg University, GPA of 3.0 or better. Essay is required along with extracurricular activities. Application requires Ms. Huth’s signature. **Mary Hedrick Scholarship—Ross senior planning to pursue higher education at a community college (2 year) or tech school/certificate program. Based on involvement and career goals. **Janotta & Herner Construction Scholarship — multiple $1,000 scholarships available for students attending 2 or 4 year degree in architecture, engineering, construction management (or related field). Must have 3.0 GPA. Application is available HERE and in guidance. Deadline is March 12, 2021.

**Kiwanis Endowment Fund Scholarship—Must be a member of Key Club, plan to attend college in the fall, have experience in community service/volunteer work. Application is available HERE and in guidance. Completed applications should be returned to guidance on or before due date. Deadline is April 15, 2021.

Robert Kumpe Memorial Scholarship —For seniors who will be entering college in Fall 2021. Must have played SOCCER in High School. A complete application and essay are required. For application visit http://www.nwoysl.org/kumpe-scholarship or see Ms. Huth. Deadline is March 31, 2021.

LM Scholarship Program— Students should be currently enrolled or expect to be enrolled in a degree program (2 years of length or greater). Write an Essay about a situation you have been involved in or someone you know has been involved in where better safety procedures would have prevented an injury. Explain in detail what safety procedures you believe should have been in place to prevent the injury. **Lutz PTO Scholarship— Lutz Staff Scholarship— Lutz William Krumnow Scholarship — For any Ross senior who attended four out of seven years at Lutz Elementary School and is planning to further his or her education upon graduation from high school. Application is available HERE and in guidance. Completed applications should be returned to guidance on or before due date. Deadline is March 20, 2020.

C. R. Meyers Memorial Scholarship (Ohio Association of Litter Prevention and Recycling Professionals)—Must be enrolled or plan to be enrolled at an accredited Ohio college, university or technical school in a major relating to environmental sciences or environmental education. Medical Mutual of Ohio Scholarship Fund— Application for seniors whose school districts ensure with Medical Mutual (Fremont City Schools). For application, visit https://cfprograms.smapply.io/prog/medmutual/ Deadline is April 1, 2021 (@ 5pm).

NW Ohio APWA Public Works Scholarship —A scholarship in the amount of $1000.00 for students who plan to major in the following areas: Engineering Core, Administrative, Vehicle Maintenance, Fleet Maintenance or Environmental impact and Water Quality. Application can found HERE. Deadline is March 15, 2021.

Northwest Ohio Realtors Scholarship— For graduating high school seniors in Northwest Ohio pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree an accredited post- secondary institution in Ohio. This scholarship is renewable for 3 additional years after the initial award (4 years total), provided the student meets the renewal conditions. The Nurse Education Assistance Loan Program (NEALP) — The Nurse Education Assistance Loan Program (NEALP) provides financial assistance to Ohio students enrolled for at least half-time study (or accepted for enrollment) in an approved Ohio nurse education program. NEALP provides funding for nurses who intend to serve as instructors or students who intend to serve as nurses after graduation. https://www.ohiohighered.org/nealp Deadline is July 15, 2021.

(State level) Ohio Association of Public School Employees/ AFSCME Local 4—For any graduating senior whose parent/guardian is a member in good standing with OAPSE and is employed by the Fremont City Schools. Ohio Athletic Committee Scholarship— Ohio seniors who have competed in at least one Ohio Athletic Committee wrestling event or been a member of high school football team, cheerleading squad for FOUR years. Successful applicants will be students demonstrating community service and leadership positions, academic excellence and a minimum ACT score of 25. Ohio Parks and Recreation Association Foundation— Don Schmidt Scholarship for students majoring in parks/law enforcement. Must have a declared major in a relevant degree program at a college or university in Ohio; and/or the applicant must be a resident of Ohio. Students must have a 3.0 GPA in their major and an overall, cumulative GPA of 2.5. Ohio Parks and Recreation Association Foundation— Jody Stowers Scholarship for students in parks and recreation majors that exemplify the future of our profession. Must have a declared major in a relevant degree program at a college or university in Ohio; and/or the applicant must be a resident of Ohio. Students must have a 3.0 GPA in their major and an overall, cumulative GPA of 2.5. Ohio Parks and Recreation Association Foundation— John McComb Scholarship for students majoring in all aspects of recreation (park operations, natural resource management, therapeutic recreation, commercial recreation, outdoor recreation, tourism, community recreation, recreation management, aquatic management, non- profit recreation management, sports management and leisure studies). Must have a declared major in a relevant degree program at a college or university in Ohio; and/or the applicant must be a resident of Ohio. Ohio Township Association— Student must be a U.S. citizen; reside in an Ohio township; and plan to attend a two or four year Ohio College or university in the fall of 2021. Student may apply for both scholarships, however, applications and accompanying materials must be submitted in two separate envelopes. Students may only win one scholarship. Local Government Achievement - Student must demonstrate outstanding citizenship through service and participation in community activities. **Gene H. Perry Scholarship— Must be a graduating Ross senior, have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above, and plan to attend a two- or four-year college and major in an Agriculture related field. **Carolyn J. Rhodes Scholarship— Graduating senior from Fremont Ross, continuing their education at a two or four-year school, earned a minimum 2.5 GPA and have participated in one or more community service or extracurricular activity during the past year. Application is available HERE and in guidance. Completed applications should be returned to guidance on or before due date. Deadline is April 2, 2021.

Sandusky County Positive People: High School Living Award— Any Senior who has faced obstacles and overcome challenges in their lives through integrity, self- reliance, determination and perseverance, and is willing to share their stories are eligible. **Stamm PTO Scholarship—Stamm Elementary School PTO has established a scholarship for graduating Ross seniors who attended at least three years at Stamm and plan to further their education. Academic potential, character, and extracurricular activities will be considered in the selection process. See Ms. Huth for application or click HERE. Application needs to be turned in to Ms. Huth. Deadline is March 26, 2021.

Bennett J. Roessner Scholarship— A scholarship in the amount of $500.00 for students who will continue their education with a focus on Small Engine or Lawn Maintenance students. Application can found HERE. Deadline is March 15, 2021.

Rove Pest Control- Applicants for this scholarship must be attending college by the Fall 2020 semester and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. This scholarship is open to anyone seeking a higher education. Terra College Foundation Scholarships—Hundreds of donors support funds each year and amounts typically range from $500 - $1,000 to be used for expenses while attending Terra State. The United Negro College Fund (UNCF)— is an American philanthropic organization that funds scholarships for black students. Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, full- time enrollment in a college or university, FAFSA application filed. U.S. Junior Chamber International (JCI) Senate Foundation— grants scholarships to graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their education at accredited post-secondary colleges, universities or vocational school. Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award- North Central Ohio Educational Service Center —Must fill out application, along with activities participated in during high school career. Applications will be judged on activities, awards, personal goal statement, GPA and ACT scores. See Ms. Huth for application or click HERE. Application along with counselor part needs to be turned in to Ms. Huth by February 5, 2021.

Dr. Deborah J. Vargo Memorial Scholarship in Nursing— For graduating high school seniors who reside in Northwest Ohio pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree in a four-year Bachelors of Nursing program at either University of Toledo, Lourdes University, or . This scholarship is renewable for 3 additional years after initial award (4 years total), provided the student meets the renewal conditions. Washington School Scholarship/ Wendelle C. Miller—Must have attended Washington School for four years and be accepted at an accredited college. Based on academic potential, character, and extracurricular activities. See Ms. Huth for application or click HERE. Deadline is March 26, 2021.

Harold W. Wott-IEEE Toledo Section Scholarship— For students pursuing a degree in the electrical/electronic engineering; electrical engineering technology; or computer science related fields. Must plan to attend Bowling Green State University, Monroe County Community College, Ohio Northern University, , Terra State Community College or the University of Toledo. This scholarship may be renewed for additional years after the initial award (not guaranteed), provided the student meets the renewal conditions.
