ii August 3, 2011 1. Introduction This document provides a list of sensitive receptors that will be used to predict air quality and health risks in the Gateway Cities Air Quality Action Plan. Sensitive receptors include schools, health care facilities, parks and recreation areas, day care centers, assisted‐living facilities, and nursing homes. However, the latter three types of facilities are still being developed for this study and are not yet available in the interim report. These additional facilities will be included in the next draft of this document.
