Dunwoody Police Officer Nathan Daley is on the road to recovery with the help of sweets from all over the country.

Great Lawn Officer Daley suffered serious injuries in early August when he was dragged by a runaway driver onto I-285. Right after his release from the hospital, he taped a message for the community: “It does look as bad as it feels, but I will bounce back ten times stronger. I love you guys. Thank you so much for your support. I accept donations in the form of treats, cookies, chocolate chip cookies, cupcakes with sprinkles – vanilla or red velvet.”

He was joking about the treats. But the response is no joke. People from Dunwoody and beyond have baked, bought and sent in everything on his list and more. Fortunately for the rest of the police department, he Brook Run Park doesn’t mind sharing.
