For any student attending one of Katy’s competitive schools, it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to graduate at the top of your class. These top Katy grads have surpassed the highest standards and Katy Magazine is proud to celebrate their accomplishments. We congratulate them and wish them all the best in their promising futures. AYounger students certainly have great role models in the class of 2010 and these graduates have given them an academic example to aspire to. “I would advise younger students to focus their energy on courses and extracurriculars they love, not just those [that] may look good on their college applications,” says Zainab Shipchandler, third in her class at . “It looks better if you succeed at something you actually care about.”

After years of hard work and devoted participation in numerous school activities, the class of 2010 finally gets the opportunity to celebrate all of their accomplishments. “It feels very rewarding to look back at my achievements,” says Marin Robinson, ’s salutatorian. “I honestly did not know that my class rank was at the top until recently, and now I am so glad that I made every effort to be a good student. The reason I am where I am is because I made a goal my freshman year and stuck to it. It’s awesome to know that all that hard work paid off.” These students give the entire Katy community something to be proud of.
