The Abraham Lincoln Marovitz Fund is available to ASBI full members in good standing for financial assistance towards Jewish day school, as well as Jewish learning programs for adults and children. Awards are based on financial need and on the recommendations of both the Marovitz Committee and the Private School Aid Service. Please note that the Marovitz Fund is a fund of last resort; applicants are required to seek funds from all other sources before being considered for Marovitz Fund support. All inquiries are kept private and should be made to the Fund Administrator at [email protected].

Abraham Lincoln Marovitz Scholarship applications are available online at asbi.org/marovitz (you must log into your account) or in the shul office.

David Schwartz comes to ASBI from the Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School where he taught in the middle school, and from Anshe Emet 2nd Chicago Kosher BBQ Festival Synagogue where he led youth services, taught Hebrew School, and tutored B'nai Mitzvah students.
