Crimes of note:
• 03/01/21 – Theft, Whiteacre Lane, Waltham – a dog has been stolen whilst unattended in the garden and
was later located dumped
• 04/01/21 – Theft – BP Garage, Upper Harbledown – a barrel has been filled with £138 of diesel, the driver
has then left making no attempt to pay
• 10/01/21 – Criminal damage, Waltham Road, Waltham – padlocks and chains to a compound have been
cut, a gate has been damaged and private land has been trespassed on
• 10/01/21 – Theft from motor vehicle, Waltham Road, Waltham – two vehicles have been overturned
causing damage and the catalytic converters have been stolen
• 10/01/21 – Theft, Waltham Road, Waltham – suspects have stolen wood from a plot of land, this wood
was felled days before
• 15/01/21 – Criminal damage, Bridge Road, Lower Hardres – a fence panel has been damaged to access a
garden
• 20/01/21 – Theft, Palmstead, Upper Hardres – two gas bottles have been stolen and gas lines cut outside
the property
• 20/01/21 – Burglary, Palmstead, Upper Hardres – entry has been gained to a dog kennel where a dog was
found to have a piece of string tied around the belly. A silhouette was seen running away from the kennels
• 22/01/21 – Burglary, Mill Lane, Harbledown – a property and a shed has been broken into overnight,
power tools have been stolen from both

There have been no crimes of note reported from Upper Hardres, Nackington, Chartham or
Petham
Anti-social behaviour and other incidents of note:
19/01/21 – Candler’s Way, Chartham – quad bike riding on playing field
22/01/21 – Bigbury Road, Chartham Hatch – three off road bikes riding in woodland, spoken to by Police, no offences as bikers owned the land
29/01/21 – Mill Lane, Harbledown – male was seen hanging around the back of properties, left when he was noticed by a member of public
