A10 • Okmulgee Times LIONS CLUB Friday, March 19, 2021 Lemon Tree Landing owner visits Lions

Tuesday’s Okmulgee Lions Club meeting answered several questions I have had regarding a relatively new business on the “main drag” in Morris, advertised as Lemon Tree Landing. I knew, without a doubt, that airplanes certainly weren’t coming in for a landing nor were there any boats coming in because of no ev- idence of a pier anywhere near. So, what gives? Hang on readers, you’re about to find out. At the beginning of the present pandemic when cloth masks were difficult to find, my wife and I were directed to “a lady in Morris” who makes masks to order. So, off we went to order several masks. Just re- cently, the Okmulgee Times published an article about Lemon Tree Landing regarding sewing classes and the expanding business. On one of my recent trips to Morris to get a haircut, I had to park nearly in front of Lemon Tree Landing so I went in to see for myself - which brings us to our program. Carla and Wally Blair, both retired Navy veterans, are the owners of the business, and both were in at- tendance for the meeting.
