My name is Tyler Ruzich, I am 17 years old and I am running for Ken Selzer (R) the Republican nomination for the governor of Kansas. I am the I am a CPA and businessman and I’ve served as the Kansas Insurance one of the highest scoring and most successful debater in my school’s Commissioner for the last four years. I am running as a Republican history. I am also very involved in community leadership: I served on with Jen Sanderson of Goodland serving at Lt. Governor. I grew up in the Prairie Village teen council for two years, I was the co-founder of rural central Kansas near Goessel, graduated with honors from KSU, the teen council summit, and I am a member of Kansas Youth and became a CPA, and married a Jayhawk farm girl from Louisburg. What makes you the best candidate for this position? After a career as a CPA and a businessman I ran for statewide office I believe am the best candidate for the governorship because Kansans and won in a crowded primary and went on to win the general election value people over politics, compromise over gridlock, and solutions by a wide margin. Since that election we have significantly reduced over inaction. I recognize that Kansans want a governor that believes costs and sharply improved productivity in the department. This in meeting in the middle and not moving Kansas left or right, but same businesslike approach is so desperately needed in the broader moving Kansas forward. And like many Kansans, I am fed up with state government. Topeka’s indifference towards public education, KanCare, infrastructure, taxes and jobs. Most impor- tantly, I believe it’s time to work with each other not against each other. What makes you the best candidate for this position? I am the only candidate with a career in business prior to serving in government. And it shows, in a very positive way, with significantly lower costs and sharply higher productivity in the insurance department. We know that better outcomes and greater efficiencies can be achieved throughout state government by running it in a more businesslike way. We need to make Kansas grow. Our economy was one of the worst in the nation in 2017. In fact it was the very worst in the Midwest that year.
