The of Mary Seminar

A collaborave and inclusive presentaon, much like the Gospel of Mary itself.

This seminar is a hands‐on workshop designed to introduce congregaons and small study groups to the ancient Gospel of Mary. It’s designed to be collaborave and inclusive, much like the Gospel of Mary itself. The facilitators share basic facts about biblical scholarship regarding the text and the figure(s) of Mary, as well as their own interpretaons, but scholarly study of this Gospel is sll relavely new, and like all scripture, it lends itself to varying points of view. The primary goal is to provide each parcipant with the tools necessary to study the Gospel of Mary further and apply its principles in praccal, spiritual ways.

Includes a PowerPoint presentaon.

Presentaon works best as a full‐day or half‐day retreat with lots of me for discussion and parcipaon, but it is possible to present the informaon as an abbreviated two hour presentaon.
