Shri Basangouda R. Sumitra Mahajan (Minister of State in the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology) laid on the Table a copy (in English and Hindi) of the Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India for the year ended 31st March, 2002 (No. 5 of 2003) Union Government (Commercial) Public Sector Undertakings-Telecommunications Sector, under clause (1) of article 151 of Constitution. 12-01 p.m. 4. Messages from Lok Sabha (I) The Constitution (Ninety-fifth Amendment) Bill, 2003 (II) The Constitution (Ninety-sixth Amendment) Bill, 2003 Secretary-General reported to the House the following messages received from Lok Sabha, signed by the Secretary-General of the Lok Sabha:— (I) “In accordance with the provisions of rule 96 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in Lok Sabha, I am directed to enclose the Constitution (Ninety-fifth Amendment) Bill, 2003, which has been passed by Lok Sabha at its sitting held on the 6th May, 2003, in accordance with the provisions of article 368 of the Constitution of India.” (II) “In accordance with the provisions of rule 96 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in Lok Sabha, I am directed to enclose the Constitution (Ninety-fifth Amendment) Bill, 2003, which has been passed by Lok Sabha at its sitting held on the 6th May, 2003, in accordance with the provisions of article 368 of the Constitution of India.” 5. Presentation of Petition Miss Mabel Rebello presented a petition signed by Shri S.S. Chouhan, General Secretary, Indian National Building Construction Workers Federation (INBCWF), New Delhi and two others regarding need for the legislative measures to improve the conditions of unorganized workers/construction workers/migrant labourers and to ban use of asbestos and close asbestos mines and factories and destroy all existing asbestos to get rid of toxin in e-waste. 12-04 p.m. 8.
