Hi There,

I am the Sponsorship and Events Director here at Bicycle NSW.

I am looking to connect with the correct person.

We are a 40 year not for profit members based organisations who presents the 1.25 million cyclists who ride once a week in NSW. We also run the biggest community bicycle rides in NSW.

We have a growing database of 37,000+ and an engaged social media following . The iconic Spring Cycle alone gets a fantastic reach of over 7 million, including segments on the Channel 7 and Channel 9 evening news.

On the 15th Oct 2017, we have the iconic Spring Cycle. The only cycling event that gives riders the unique opportunity to ride across the Harbour Bridge.

It has run for over 30 years and show cases cycling infrastructure from North Sydney, through the City, inner west and all the way out to Prospect. It then loops back along the M4 cycleway to . It is a fantastic community event where kids ride free, it is the day we show over 10,000 people where they can cycle!

We showcase the excisting and new cycling growth from the city to in Greater , and then the growth Area of Greater Paramatta to the Olympic Peninsula. 105km route

This year we are very excited to introduce the16km River Ride! This new route will start near Parramatta Park and follow the river all the way to , cross over to Newington and proceed to the festival finish at Sydney Olympic Park.

The 16km River Ride will be ideal for families in the Western Suburbs of Sydney as it will explore the cycleway between Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park.

Bicycle NSW is a not for profit organisation, who puts on one of the most expensive events in NSW. We close down the heart of Sydney, and spread across and connect with the Inner West and Western Sydney.

This event is a community event, and an advocacy tool to get more people riding. Not just on Spring Cycle day, but to show how easy it is to jump on a train with your bike, where you can cycle and rediscover the joys of being on a bike. We do not want to have expensive entry fees, and we do not want to take away 'kids ride free'. Therefore we are looking for support and investment to keep this historic iconic, ever expanding event alive.

I would love to chat this through with the correct person as we align perfectly as tool for you to support the growing of Parramatta and the link to the Olymplic Peninsula. You have the opportunity to reach over 10,000 riders that will pedal through it. The opportunity to do an activation at the finish festival or we can discuss you KPIs or KPOs and see where Bicycle NSW can add value.

Could you advise me on who that is and my next steps around a partnership with the City of Parramatta

I have attached a little more about Bicycle NSW.

I look forward to hearing from you

Jane
