• Threshold sensitivity 0.35 photons cm-2 s-1 for untriggered events (cf. BATSE untriggered threshold ~0.1 photons cm-2 s-1)
• Location accuracies: – ~8º onboard, real-time – ~5º, near real-time IPN, ~arcminutes – ~3º after manual intervention A QUICK REVIEW OF IPN – BATSE RESULTS
•919 BATSE GRBs observed and localized by the IPN, + many SGR bursts
•Data used to refine the BATSE localization error model (Pendleton et al. 1999)
•IPN Results published in four catalogs
