SPOTLIGHT - HGTV From Jan. 1 through Feb. 29, the top categories advertising on HGTV were: automakers; online and auction websites; cleaners and fresheners; insurance: auto and general; and health and beauty: skin and foot care. Commercials for Pedigree, the dog food, generated the highest digital response (including tweets, shares, likes, etc.) across HGTV, thanks in part to a Dream Home Giveaway promotion the brand did with the network. In all, 885 brands aired 1,983 different spots a total of 48,632 times on HGTV during the fi rst two months of 2016.
