In the sermon during the Liturgy, the Head of the Church asked to pray for Pope Francis. “In these days, I had the opportunity to pray with him, and he urged the whole Church to pray the rosary in October. We know how today the devil personally attacks the Holy Father from all around. He needs our prayer, our help, solidarity and unity. And who should do this first, if not us, the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, which still carries the wounds of martyrdom for its fidelity to the successor of the apostle Peter,” said the Head of the UGCC.
