Use only the indicated MSA suspension in your MSA hard hat. Do not mix suspension sizes and hard hat sizes (i.e., putting a standard-sized suspension in a large hard hat or any other mismatched combination). Do not use competitor suspensions in MSA hard hats. Inspect your suspension frequently. Suspensions should be replaced every 12 months, regardless of inspection results. Replace immediately (along with the hard hat), if an impact has occurred. Failure to follow these instructions will reduce the energy absorbing ability of the hard hat to receive impact, and could result in serious injury or death.
