July 3—The 33 (2016) Starring Antonio Banderas and Cote de Pablo. Disaster strikes on Aug. 5, 2010, as a copper and gold mine collapses in Chile, trapping 33 men underground. With more than 2,000 feet of rock in their way, members of a rescue team work tirelessly for 69 days to save the seemingly doomed men. Beneath the rubble, the miners begin an epic quest to survive, contending with suffocating heat and the need for food and water. July 10—Local Color (2009) Starring Armin Stahl, Charles Durning and Ray Liotta. A renowned artist looks back with loving memories on the summer of his defining year, 1974, when he befriended an elderly, alcoholic yet genius painter who has turned his back not only on art, but on life. July 17—Lion (2016) Starring Dev Patel and . Five-year-old Saroo gets lost on a train which takes him thousands of Kilometers across India, away from home and family. Saroo must learn to survive alone in Kolkata, before ultimately being adopted by an Australian couple. Twenty-five years later, armed with only a handful of memories, his unwavering determination, and a revolutionary technology known as Google Earth, he sets out to find his lost family and finally return to his first home. July 24—Sense & Sensibility (1995) Starring Emma Thompson, Alan Rickman and Kate Winslet. Based on Jane Austen's classic novel, Sense and Sensibility tells of the Dashwood sisters, sensible Elinor and passionate Marianne, whose chances at marriage seem doomed by their family's sudden loss of fortune. July 31— This Beautiful Fantastic (2017) Starring Tom Wilkinson and Jessica Brown Findlay. Set against the backdrop of a beautiful garden in London, Bella Brown is a beautifully quirky young woman who dreams of writing and illustrating a successful children’s book. When she is forced by her landlord to deal with her neglected garden or face eviction, she meets her nemesis, match and mentor in Alfie Stephenson a grumpy, loveless, rich old man who lives next door and happens to be an amazing horticulturalist. Rated PG; 100 min.

August 7—The Zookeeper’s Wife (2017) Starring Jessica Chastain. The real-life story of one working wife and mother who became a hero to hundreds during World War II. In 1939 Poland, Antonina Zabinska and her husband, Dr. Jan Zabinski, have the Warsaw Zoo flourishing under his stewardship and her care. When their country is invaded by the Germans, Jan and Antonina are stunned – and forced to report to the Reich's newly appointed chief zoologist, Lutz Heck. To fight back on their own terms, Antonina and Jan covertly begin working with the Resistance – and put into action plans to save lives out of what has become the Warsaw Ghetto, with Antonina putting herself and even her children at great risk. August 14—The Secret Life of Pets (2016) Starring the voice talents of Eric Stonestreet and Kevin Hart. What do your pets do when you're not home? When their owners leave for the day, pets from the building gossip with their friends, satisfy their sweet-tooths, and throw outrageous parties. But when a pampered terrier and his unruly new 'roommate' from the pound get lost in the urban jungle of New York City, they must put aside their differences to survive the epic journey back home. August 21—Loving (2016) Starring Joel Edgerton and Ruth Negga. In 1958, in the state of Virginia, the idea of interracial marriage was not only considered to be immoral to many, it was also illegal. When Richard and Mildred fall in love, they are aware of the eyes staring at them and the words said behind their backs. It is when they get married, however, that words and looks become actions, and the two are arrested. The couple decide to take their case all of the way to the Supreme Court in order to fight for their love in this passionate and gripping drama. Rated PG-13; 123 min. September 18—Hidden Figures (2016) Starring Janelle Monae, Octavia Spencer and Taraji Henson. An incredible and inspiring untold true story about three women at NASA who were instrumental in one of history’s greatest operations – the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit.
