The DriveNow registration is simple and for you as a contributing member of the VIC Staff Associations & Unions now possible at a rate of 4,99€ (instead of 29€). In addition you receive 30 free driving minutes with your registration (15 minutes right away when registering online, 15 more minutes when you collect your card at the Vienna International Center, Staff Service Office (C0341) at one of the available dates below).

Second step – collect your customer card Get your DriveNow customer card at the Staff Service Office (C0341) on Mon, 2016-12-12, Fri. 2016-12-16 or Fri. 2017-01-13 between 12 noon and 2 pm. back to the overview 6. DriveNow Business Area in Vienna
You can find and end the booking in this business area of Vienna. Of course it is also possible to take the cars outside of this area. To other countries however, is not allowed.
7. DriveNow policy for the termination of a booking
You can terminate the booking of DriveNow vehicles in the public parking space within the business area. Short parking areas are included, DriveNow pays the fees. Excluded are zones, which require a special parking permit (people with disabilities, residents, embassy employees, etc.) and short term parking areas, which have a duration of less than 48 hours from the moment you want to leave the car. Of course, prohibited areas for parking and stopping are excluded at any time.

DriveNow is ideal, when you need a car short notice and can be used for inner-city trips or to the near surrounding countryside. DriveNow is clearly cheaper than a taxi and can be used for trips to the airport and train stations as well.
9. What does DriveNow cost?
The invoicing follows a simple, transparent „all-inclusive“ pricing model. The regular rates are per minute and there are hourly packages and minute bundles available as well. All rates cover the regular costs for parking in the business area, fuel and insurance.

DriveNow is present at airports in all DriveNow cities: Find a car in the city, drive to the airport comfortably and quickly, park the car close to the terminal and take off. More information: DriveNow airports

City-center to Vienna Airport: 30 minutes driving time à 34 Ct/min = 10,20 € + 10,00 € service charge = 20,20 €
Navigation at airports:
Once you get close to the airport, directions to the parking area are displayed at the DriveNow in-car screen automatically.
Recommendation for early trips to the airport:
Like for the parking mode (if you interrupt your trip without ending the rental), the extended reservation is free of charge from Monday to Friday, 00:00 to 06:00 o’clock. Therefore you could reserve a car for your early trip to the airport already during the night. DriveNow reservation: 2 x 15 minutes are always free. The extended reservation costs 10 Ct/Min (max. 8 hours).

Every Tuesday and Wednesday you save 50% of the Airport service fee for your trips to the Vienna Airport! Please just select „airport“ on the in-car screen and you will be charged only the reduced amount.
back to the overview 12. Can I use DriveNow internationally?
Yes, your DriveNow ID works internationally in every DriveNow city. You just have to accept the local terms and conditions once. This can be done in your customer area on our webpage or directly in the car at your first interational DriveNow trip. Prerequisite is that you use a credit card as your mode of payment.
13. Insurance at DriveNow
Fair and transparent insurance coverage are most important to us. All our vehicles have liability and fully comprehensive insurance. The regular deductible for a full or partly self- inflicted damage is 1,000 € net. Directly in the car before a trip, you can reduce the deductible from 1,000€ net to 350 € net by buying an insurance package for 1 € per trip.
