Th e Ysleta del Sur Pueblo of El Paso, TX, also known as the Tigua Indians, strives to establish a business-friendly environment while addressing the unique needs and culture of the Pueblo. We are pleased to present this overview of businesses.

Tigua, Inc. was formed to help the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo achieve economic prosperity through better management of opportunities. Tigua, Inc., established by the tribal council, is composed of business executives with a strong background in business and economic development. Working together as a team, management and the board of directors are committed to exploring new ways to leverage the Pueblo’s resources, talents and tribal advantages for the economic betterment of the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo community. Community Th e Ysleta del Sur Pueblo is situated within the city of El Paso and the city of Socorro, TX, just north of Mexico along the Rio Grande. Th e land confi guration is referred to as “checkerboard” or pieced together with non-contiguous boundaries. Th e primary reserva- tion community is one mile northeast of the Zaragoza International border between the and Mexico.

Much of tribal trust land supports tribal government offi ces and the tribal housing communities as well as property for tribal businesses and future development.
