FAQs:  Junior sailors can enter the program at any age (6-18) and any skill level, and will be paired up with kids of similar skill/age/interest by their instructors  Some will want to participate recreationally and may occasionally race; others may pursue a dedicated race track  Kids will learn boat rigging, sailing, weather, navigation, teamwork, etc. as they progress  Sailors often come back year after year to grow their skills, try new boats and make new friends  Tracks & Boat Progression: o Recreational: Opti->Feva->Big Boat (can move in/out of Racing track dep. on skill and interest) o Racing: Opti->Race Opti->Race Feva/Laser/420/Big Boat (can move in/out of Recreational or change boats depending on interest)  You will need to purchase your own boat or rent it for a season from our club or local business like boatlocker.com.
