Phil LaMarr @PhilLamarr Voice of “Gabe” in “Kaijudo: Clash of the Duel Masters”
Phil LaMarr stars as “Gabe,” Ray’s best friend who is a master strategist and self-proclaimed nerd, whose creature of choice is Gargle, the prince of the Water Civilization, in “Kaijudo: Clash of the Duel Masters” on the Hub Network. Stephen Davis is executive producer of “Kaijudo: Clash of the Duel Masters” from Hasbro Studios.
Best known for his role as “Marvin” in “Pulp Fiction,” LaMarr’s feature film credits include “Step Brothers,” “Free Enterprise,” and “Real Steel.”
LaMarr was one of the original cast members of “MADtv.” He has also appeared on “NYPD Blue,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Happy Endings,” and “Castle.”
LaMarr is also known for his extensive voice-over work and is currently recording new episodes of “Futurama,” “Family Guy,” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.” He voiced recurring roles on “King of The Hill,” “Young Justice,” “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” “Samurai Jack,” “Static Shock,” and “Justice League.”
In addition to all of his film and TV work, LaMarr is producing and starring in the comedy web series “Inside the Legend” and currently appears in Jeff Lewis' “Chatroom of Solitude.”
LaMarr’s video game credits include “Rage,” “Dead Island” and “Infamous 2.”
On stage, LaMarr starred as “Cowboy Curtis” in the Broadway production of “The Pee-wee Herman Show” and the Emmy Award® nominated television special of the same name. He was also featured in productions with The Actor’s Gang, South Coast Repertory, Theater-a-Go-Go and Sacred Fools Theatre.
LaMarr is an alumnus of Yale University and The Groundlings, where he worked alongside comedic stars Jennifer Coolidge, Kathy Griffin, and Will Ferrell. A Los Angeles native, LaMarr lives in L.A. with his family.
