Born and raised on a 25-acre farm in the small town of Sanford, NC, playing baseball was Josh’s first love. At the age of fifteen he was invited to attend the Atlanta Braves training camps. As one of the youngest recruits in talks with the legendary team, there’s no doubt Josh was being groomed to become a star outfielder. He played for North Carolina’s Pfeiffer University and Pitt Community College until knee injuries took him out of the game completely.

When his cleats and glove were put away for good, Josh was searching for direction, when friends helped to give him a push to try music. After a huge support for friends and family of his first YouTube video, he threw himself into his music. Growing up he listened to George Strait, Jr., , as well as AC/DC and Led Zeppelin. This wide range of musical influences shaped Josh’s sound and led him to create his own unique southern / country rock sound that is making a big impact with his audiences. “I want to create music that stands out.”

After almost 400 heart pounding shows, in his short 3-year career, Josh has been able to play across the south east and open for Parmalee, Tyler Farr, Sam Hunt, Chris Jansen, Love & Theft, Craig Morgan, Cole Swindell, , and John Michael Montgomery, just to name a few.
