In 2003 he was the recipient of the New Jersey Devils Dr. John J. McMullen award for dedication and service to amateur hockey in New Jersey. He has served as the Vice President of Player Development for the Atlantic District of USA Hockey for the past ten years. Hunt is the current coach of the Jersey Hitmen, Junior hockey team (EJHL). ______
