The band raised over $100,000 for various charities, including the Red Cross for Hurricane Katrina survivors and for the music department at Bradley Elementary in Utica, NY, to help keep music in children’s lives. Whether touring across the globe, being featured in music festivals, including Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Langerado and Vegoose, or sharing the stage with such celebrated acts as the Allmans, The Who, or Robert Plant, among others, what keeps moe. at the forefront of the music scene is not only the energy and vitality of their music and songwriting, but the showmanship in which it is delivered. By all accounts, for this “legendary ,” as Rolling Stone magazine recently described them, it would be best to keep your eyes on this band and your ears tuned in to their music. Witness history in the making.

He is one of our seniors who comes in everyday to have lunch with his friends. Our thanks to Annie and Abby, student nurses from St. Elizabeths who volunteered their time to help our seniors and staff during our lunch. They do this as part Kitchen staff of their community service, and we were thankful to have them. Thank you also to our OFA outreach worker, Carol Nettleman who is here the first Wednesday of each month and every Friday to hold informal classes on healthy aging, nutrition, home safety, exercise to mention a few. All are welcome to come talk to her and take part in the classes. Noi is here on Mondays doing our aerobic class and Thursday's the chair Zumba class. She is a great asset to our center. Check the calendar for the times. Don’t forget that Jeff Glatt plays the keyboard the last Wednesday of each month for our birthday party and Charlie Ernst plays on Tuesdays during our lunch. We do love our music. We have a great bunch of bridge and canasta card players each week. They are always looking for new players. Last but not least I want to thank my staff and volunteers for helping me to keep our seniors happy and well fed and our programs running smoothly. They are such a great help for me and one of them,Barb does pick up her brother and a couple friends to bring in to lunch, so thank you to her for doing this. Come join us for lunch and meet all of these wonderful people. Student nurses helping seniors color
