Two cities, one break THE CONTRASTING cities of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, merely an hour apart, are two cities that are worth combining if travellers want to make the most out of a holiday to Israel. Famous for its religious and historical significance, Jerusalem is Israel’s ancient capital – the Holy City. Within the confines of the Old City, Jerusalem features historical sites, including the Western Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and the Tower of David. By contrast, Tel Aviv, dubbed ‘the city that never sleeps’ is a cosmopolitan hub at the heart of Israel’s nightlife, cultural and culinary scene, lined with beaches, boardwalks and boutiques. www.goisrael.com Image Credit: Adobe Stock S04 TB 21 05 2021 Far East_Layout 1 19/05/2021 12:03 Page 15
