This nine-member commission, with representatives from public school teachers, the University of Nevada Colleges of Education, counselors, private schools, school administration and the general public, has as its primary purpose the establishment of regulations prescribing the qualifications for licensing teachers and other educational personnel. The 2007-2008 edition of Nevada's DIRECTORY OF LICENSED PERSONNEL is published in accordance with the Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) 391.045 and contains the names of teachers and other educational personnel who hold valid Nevada elementary, secondary or special education licenses and are employed by local school districts. Personnel are listed by school district and by school. The three and four-digit numbers to the right of each name are codes that indicate teaching assignments. A decoding guide can be found on pages 13-16 of this directory. In addition to valid licensed staff, this directory contains names and addresses of the Commission on Professional Standards in Education, the State Board of Education, professional staff of the Nevada Department of Education, identified advisory councils, professional organizations and institutions. -iii- TABLE OF CONTENTS Nevada Map......................................................................................................................................... ii Introduction.......................................................................................................................................... iii Table of Contents ................................................................................................................................ iv State Board of Education .................................................................................................................... 1 Commission on Professional Standards in Education ....................................................................... 2 Nevada Department of Education Professional Staff (Northern Nevada)........................................ 3 Nevada Department of Education Professional Staff (Southern Nevada)........................................ 4 University and Community College System of Nevada ................................................................... 5 Advisory Councils and Professional Organizations .......................................................................... 6 Guide for Decoding Assignment Designations ................................................................................. 14 Carson City School District ................................................................................................................ 18 Churchill County School District ....................................................................................................... 23 Clark County School District.............................................................................................................. 26 Douglas County School District ......................................................................................................... 173 Elko County School District ............................................................................................................... 178 Esmeralda County School District ..................................................................................................... 185 Eureka County School District ........................................................................................................... 186 Humboldt County School District ...................................................................................................... 187 Lander County School District ........................................................................................................... 190 Lincoln County School District.......................................................................................................... 192 Lyon County School District .............................................................................................................. 194 Mineral County School District.......................................................................................................... 200 Nye County School District................................................................................................................ 201 Pershing County School District ........................................................................................................ 206 Storey County School District ............................................................................................................ 208 Washoe County School District ......................................................................................................... 209 White Pine County School District .................................................................................................... 244 State Sponsored Schools ..................................................................................................................... 246 -iv- NEVADA STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION NEVADA STATE BOARD FOR OCCUPATIONAL EDUCATION Marcia L.
