The two secondary schools in - and Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School, have been running a highly successful and effective partnership called the Horncastle Umbrella Trust. Recently we learned from the these two schools, together with Frithville and New York have permission to form a Multi Academy Trust. We are keen to build Horncastle Stars of the Week: Education Trust as an educational community that values and cherishes the ethos and uniqueness of each of its schools and has both secondary and primary school members. A key success criteria for the Horncastle Education Trust will be that it provides opportunities for pupils and staff to regularly work together on projects and activities. We see it as imperative that schools who are in the Horncastle Class 1: Aeryn Martin, Isabella Place, Education Trust are geographically close. We are currently working towards 1st December 2018 as the date for the launch of the Horncastle Education Trust. On that date it would be our wish to have four schools as founding members; Banovallum, Frithville, New York and Charlie Morgan QEGS.
