NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 7 OF SCHEDULE 14

FOREST HEATH DISTRICT COUNCIL (MILDENHALL FOOTPATHS NOS 24(PART) AND 25(PART)) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2017

On 29 December 2017 Forest Heath District Council confirmed the above order.

The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert the following public footpaths at the site of a proposed new development known as the Mildenhall Hub off Sheldrick Way, Mildenhall as shown on the order map:

(1) the entire width of that part of Mildenhall Public Footpath (FP) No 24 commencing at Ordnance Survey grid reference (OSGR) TL70467444 and proceeding in a northerly direction to OSGR TL70457458 then in a westerly direction to OSGR TL70127459 to a new route running from OSGR TL70467444 in a west north westerly and then generally northerly direction along a metalled path to a junction with the new route of Mildenhall FP No 25 at OSGR TL70357464 then in a westerly direction along a field edge to OSGR TL70127465 then in southerly direction to OSGR TL70127459.

(2) the entire width of that part of Mildenhall FP No 25 commencing at OSGR TL70457466 and proceeding in a southerly direction to OSGR TL70457458 to a new route running from OSGR TL70457466 in south westerly and then westerly direction along a metalled path to a junction with the new route of Mildenhall FP No 24 at OSGR TL70357464.

The order comes into force on the date on which Forest Heath District Council certifies that the alternative highways have been created to its reasonable satisfaction, but if any person aggrieved by the order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act, or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the order he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under Section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to that Act.
