ACTIVITIES IN 2018. Croatian 2cv Citroen Club in 2018 celebrates several anniversaries:

20 years of Croatian 2cv Citroen Club 50 years of model MEHARI 70 years of 2CV

2CV PICNIC SAMOBOR 2018.

On 24th and 25th of March we have opened this year’s 2cv season, in Samobor, in the area of former army barracks. Even the weather was pretty cold, there were many participants taking their part in competitions in driving skills and in replacing the 2cvs left front wheel. The path for competition was set up by Damir Bučanac from Samobor. In male category in driving skills competition were 17 participants, while in female category only four ladies participated.

In competition of replacing the 2cvs wheel, there were four male teams and only on female team. With tasty meals and beer, the meeting continued in the cafe bar within the complex, where the kids had their art workshop and ate their pizza. At the late hours, the meeting was continued in 2CV PUB Fontana where a great party up to the morning hours happened. Another day was used for the easy walk through centre of town and visiting of Samobor spring fair at the main square.

ZAGREB AUTO-SHOW 2018.

Croatian 2cv Citroen Club on this year’s Zagreb Auto-show in pavilion 11b (Chinese pavilion) has exhibited two vehicles and celebrated several anniversaries: 20th Club’s anniversary, 50 years of model Mehari (1968.-2018.) and 70 years of model 2cv (1948.-2018.). That was a great opportunity to introduce visitors, through exhibited models, about club’s activities and especially 23rd 2cv World Meeting going to be held next year in Samobor, Croatia.

Except for exhibition of club’s vehicles Mehari 1975. (owner Mihovil Lušić from Split) and 2cv 1986. (owner Darko Zornjak from Samobor), the space around the stand has been used for the exhibition of Club’s members photographs taken on trips with their cars around the world.

As it is already a tradition, on 14th of April the parade of old-timer cars was held from the Zagreb’s main square Josipa Jelačića to the Zagreb’s Fair where the Auto-show was held. At this parade participated four members of our club with their 2CVs.

TRADITIONAL MEETING IN ORGANIZATION OF CROATIAN 2CV CITROEN CLUB

TRIBALJ 01. - 03. 06. 2018.

In peaceful and relaxing green valley, between the blue sea and forested mountains, in Vinodol municipality in Crikvenica's outback, only 7 km from the Adriatic sea there is a place called TRIBALJ- where Croatian 2cv Citroen Club organizes this years' Traditional Club's 2cv Meeting from 01.-03.06.2018.

Within the meeting there will be a central celebration of the 70th anniversary of 2cv and 50th anniversary of Mehari, as well as celebration of Club's 20th Birthday. Great entertainment, gastronomic offer and programme is guaranteed, just as it was 15 years ago when there was a meeting at the same place.

On Saturday, 2nd of June, the Raid will be organized through the Vinodol municipality, and visiting of some viewpoints and castles in cooperation with the Tourist board.

Accommodation is organized in the camp which will be allowed only for this occation next to the Tribalj Lake managed by the HE Vinodol. Swimming in the lake is strictly forbidden.

Whole Vinodol is one wonderful story, created by rich history, numerous cultural and history monuments, beauties of nature and tradition. The one thing is to experience Vinodol by traveling through it, and another thing is to see Vinodol from the „bird's perspective“ – through the open roof of 2cv!

WE ANNOUNCE:

2CV THREE RIVERS RAID 2018.

Croatian 2cv Citroen Club, for its 20th Birthday, this year organizes 2cv Three Rivers Raid which is going to be held from 14.-16.09.2018. in the area of rivers Kupa, Sava and Una.

In three days' time, and in groups containing maximum 6 vehicles, participants will ride next to lower flow of Sava River, from the Old town in Sisak to the Nature park of Lonjsko Polje. Participants will learn about the culture of living along the rivers and the cultural-historical heritage. Just like at the first 2cv Three Rivers Raid two years ago, participants can expect lots of surprises. Shipping across the Sava River was just one of many unforgettable experiences. Within this unique way we also want to promote the culture and solidarity of traveling in groups, our Club's activities and also the history of the brand CITROEN.

The number of A serie vehicles is limited ( up to maximum 36) for the purpose of the raid organisation. Registration form will soon be available on our web and Facebook page. Because of organization expenses, there will be participation charge for each participant in which will be included costs for the Road book printing, accommodation, several meals, entertainment programme, t-shirts, stickers etc.

Total length of the Raid route is approx. 150 km in three days ( approx. 50 km per day). The route of this Raid will be different than the one from the previous 2cv Three Rivers Raid.
