We understand how it is the day after Thanksgiving. You went in with the best of intentions and made it out alive but now it’s time to renew and restore. But how do I get away? How do I undo it all?

The first hour of this workshop is . This practice will focus on relaxation. Working and moving too much can raise stress levels to the point that your body can't keep up. This restorative practice is a benefit to your optimal health that encourages relaxation to help reset the nervous system. The supported sequence will focus on the feeling of being grounded by bringing breath awareness to the body.

The second hour is Yoga Nidra (iRest) a systematic method of inducing complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. The term yoga nidra is derived from two words. Yoga, defined as a union or one-pointed awareness and Nidra, translating to a conscious form of sleep, not sleep as we think of it. Developed specifically to put one’s emotions into a state of tranquility and used extensively in the treatment of PTSD (closely related to holiday stress). Yoga Nidra – The Sleep of the – will guide you back to the true you and take away that stress. You might even get a nap out of it!

Cost is $35, if paid in advance or $40 at the door otherwise.
