CATALOGUE 2021 HEPCO&BECKER - from motorcyclists - for motorcyclists! Yesterday. Today. And in the future. We are currently experiencing some very unusual times. Nothing is as it used to be, and as we know and love it. And who knows what the future has in store for us! In this era of uncertainty, it’s a good and precious thing to have some fixed points of reference: memories and experiences, friendships and shared experiences. Riding your motorbike is certainly one of them! Luckily, we are still able to enjoy our freedom on our bikes. Whether braking into or accelerating out of a bend, or the low rumble of the engine; all this creates positive emotions that are good for the soul. And let’s not forget the experience of being in natural surroundings: We can enjoy the many different smells and fragrances of nature, the freshness of the morning and the warmth of the sun when it shines while we’re out on the bike. This is something to be thankful for too. We at HEPCO&BECKER are reliable partners when it comes to enjoying your hobby with our products over many ©Sylvie Felgueiras decades and of course in the future. Warm regards, You support us in so many ways: as our customer, critic and advisor! We would like to thank you in particular for your Paul Ehrhardt, Paul J. Ehrhardt Shareholder – Managing Directors reports and the generally positive feedback on your experiences with our products, because this also helps us to keep improving our offer. Good, individual advice and proximity to our customers have always been very important to us, and we will be presenting our products in this catalogue format again in 2021. Here’s some more good news: We have made some improvements and modifications to our existing products. Take your time to browse and to be amazed! We would like to highlight one change in particular: We have decided not to include the new 2021 motorcycles in the list of models, as this has led to numerous corrections and misunderstandings in the past. Once the new accessories have been developed, we will promptly publish them on our website www.hepco-becker.de along with the delivery times and prices. So you’re always up to date with the latest news. vielfach prämiert You can of course email or telephone us at any time. We look forward to hearing from you, and will be happy to multiple answer any questions you may have. Ehrhardt Nils Arnold Mathias Dzemski Picture taken in 1978 - far left: Paul Ehrhardt, then Managing Director Hepco&Becker, a name that guarantees quality and stands for service for motorcycles. The one-man operation was founded in 1973 by engineer Franz Becker, who was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident in 1975. The business was continued and developed into a medium-sized company by young student Paul Ehrhardt. Its production in the early days involved essential metal parts. 1984 marked the takeover of hard-shell case production by Hepting & Co. from Stuttgart Feuerbach and the foundation of Hepco&Becker GmbH as the continuation of Franz Becker GmbH. Hepting was once one of the largest suitcase manufacturers with more than one thousand employees in Germany. In the seventies and the beginning of the eighties, Hepting manufactured thousands of motorcycle cases for BMW and Krauser. Thanks to in-house case production, Hepco&Becker successfully provided new, attractive products and assumed a leading role on the market. Whilst a number of com- petitors have disappeared, Hepco&Becker has managed to remain successful to this day. The rhino became a key concept for the Hepco&Becker brand. It represents independence and robustness, power and durability, just like every item that comes out of the Hepco&Becker establishment. The rhino has high loyalty values for many motorcyclists as it is not so easy to dissuade thanks to a certain stubbornness. Sustainability and reliability are, to this day, values which shape and define day-to-day business at Hepco&Becker. 8 THE COMPANY Franz Becker develops oil chain cases.
