State of the program Oxford, Ohio has not been this excited for Miami football in some time. Depending on who you talk with, most would say expectations have not been this high for a Miami football team since Ben Roethlisberger was quarterback, back in 2003. Just four years ago the RedHawks went 0-12 and averaged less than 10 points per game. Now, Miami has had four straight recruiting classes ranked in the top-3 among MAC schools and received the most first-place votes among East Division teams in the media preseason poll. What a difference four years makes.
